The Trenton Thunder stormed back from a 4-1 loss on Wednesday night to out score the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 9-6 at NYSEG Stadium last night (Thursday) and even their Eastern Division Championship Series at 1-1.  The Rumble Ponies fell behind 4-0 early in the game but used a five-run third inning to move ahead 5-4.  Trenton countered with three runs in the bottom of the fifth to retake the lead at 7-5.  The Rumble Ponies never could come back from the deficit.  The Thunder banged out 18 hits in the game.

The series shifts to Trenton for tonight's (Friday's) 7 PM game (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF)..  Marcus Molina is the scheduled starter for the Rumble Ponies at ARM & HAMMER Park.  Game four is scheduled for Saturday night at 7 PM in Trenton and should a fifth game be necessary the teams will meet in Trenton Sunday in another 7 PM contest.
