Bearcats Meet Texas A&M

The Binghamton Bearcats baseball team will travel to meet Texas A&M in College Station Friday evening at 9:00 PM in their opener in the NCAA Regional Tournament.  It will be the first time the two teams will meet on the baseball diamond. The Aggies are the number one seed in their regional while the Bearcats are a fourth seed.  Minnesota is the second seed and the Gophers meet  number three seed Wake Forest at 4 PM that same day.

Texas A&M carries a 45-14 mark into Friday's action.  The Bearcats are 30-23 after winning all three games last week in the America East Baseball Championship Tournament.  The Aggies defeated Florida 12-5 to win the SEC Championship.

The Bearcats have won the America East Tournament for the third time in the last four seasons.  Over the past eight years Binghamton has captured four AE crowns.
