The Binghamton Rumble have five standouts named to the Eastern League All-Star Classic scheduled for Tuesday, July 11 and 12 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire. All five of the players are in their first season of Double-A competition.

Representing the Rumble Ponies are:

Left-handed pitcher P.J. Conlon...  Conlon is second in the Eastern League in strikeouts  with 71 and innings pitched with 89.

Infielder Luis Guillorme... The middle infielder is hitting .293 for Binghamton and adding outstanding defense play.

Tomas Nido... Nido is batting .283 since May 4 and is rated as one of the top Mets' prospects.  The young catcher has also hit five home runs and makes an All-Star Team for the third straight season.

Corey Oswalt...His 2.13 ERA is the second-lowest in the Eastern League and he has held opposition hitters to a .231 average.

Kevin Taylor...Taylor is tenth in the league in hitting with a .308 average.  A .401 on-base percentage is second in the circuit.

The All-Star Classic takes place during a three-day break in the Eastern League schedule.
