The Binghamton Rumble Ponies began their season on the road at Hartford. The Rumble Ponies fell behind early, 7-1 but fought back to tie it up at 8 when Matt Winaker hit a grand slam in the 5th.

They would end up losing the rubber game to the Yard Goats by a 10-8 score. The Rumble Ponies come back for their home opener at Mirabito Stadium on Tuesday, April 12th.

They begin a six-game homestand against the Bowie Baysox on Fleece Blanket Giveaway Night. Get there early because the first 1,000 fans will get that fleece blanket to help you keep warm when the temperatures reach 40 degrees.

That's not the only thing happening at the ballpark on Tuesday because it's Two for Tuesday with 2-for-1 pricing on domestic draft beers, fountain sodas, and (new this year) hot dogs.

Kevin Mitchell was a part of the 1986 New York Met team and he'll be making an appearance on May 21st. Bucky Dent will be coming to Mirabito Stadium on Thursday, September 1st.
