The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are in the stretch run of the second half of the Eastern League season.  There are 18 more regular season home games including the upcoming three-game series against the Harrisburg Senators.

Heading into Tuesday night's action Binghamton is 22-25 in the second half of the Eastern League campaign.

That is good for third place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division.  The Reading Fightin Phils lead the division at 28-18.  Portland is in second place at 22-22 and 5 games behind Reading.  The Rumble Ponies follow in third place at 22-25 and 6 games out of first place.

The best second half records are in the Western Division.  Erie leads at 33-12 while the Bowie Baysox are right behind at 30-13.

Binghamton has 16 remaining home dates including two doubleheaders. Plagued by rainouts and unplayable weather conditions throughout much of the early portion of the schedule the Rumble Ponies through 45 home dates played are averaging 3,029  fans per home date according to league figures.
