The annual Christmas Bazaar is being held Saturday, December 1 at the Church Hall at 230 Ukranian Hill Road in Johnson City.  The event runs from 10 A.M until 2 P.M.

The Christmas Bazaar draws visitors from all around the region.  Home made ethnic favorites are available for purchase to dine in or take out.  Traditional favorites include Pyrohy, Holubsti, Kobassa, Kolachki and Apricot and Nut Roll. Father Teodor Czabala traveled to New York City earlier in the week to personally transport fresh Kobassa back for the Bazaar.

Along with delicious food the Bazaar offers shoppers many unique gift-buying opportunities.  Featured are various art work displays, crafts, raffle baskets and embroideries.  Many come to eat and then stay to do their gift shopping.

Any proceeds from the Christmas Bazaar go to various projects involved with Sacred Heart Ukranian Church.  Purchases, maintenance and building projects benefit from the Christmas Bazaar and the Summer Festival and Picnic held at their Castle Creek picnic grounds.
