The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team edged the Lemoyne College Dolphins 57-56 Friday night at the Events Center.  The Dolphins, a Division II program, gave the Bearcats all they could handle and led at the half 30 - 23.  LeMoyne is coming off of an NCAA Tournament appearance last season.

Binghamton's offense came to life offensively in the fourth quarter and came from behind by outscoring LeMoyne 18-12 to come up with the one point victory.  Carly Boland sparked the Bearcats with 17 points including four three-point baskets.

Other Bearcats in double figures included Olivia Ramil  with 11 points and Zahra Barnes with 10 points.  Annie Ramil grabbed 11 rebounds for BU.

The Bearcats head to Siena on Tuesday for a 5:00 PM game.  Binghamton's next home game is Friday, November 8 at 7:00 PM against Lafayette.

BU's Tuesday game at Siena is part of a Bearcats basketball doubleheader on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Following the women's game the men open their season at Cornell in Ithaca with tip off scheduled at 7:00 PM.
