Woman Accused of Stealing Deposit Containers from Cub Scouts

A Chenango County woman is accused of stealing recyclables from the Cub Scouts in the Town of Barker.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 39 year old Vasilica Conrad is charged with petit larceny and driving without a license for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

She’s accused of stealing cans and bottles from a donation drop off on Route 12.

She was picked up as she was driving into the Price Chopper to return the redeemables.

She’s been ordered to appear in Town of Barker Court at a later date.
