An Endicott man is accused of breaking into a home in Cortland County, surprising the resident when they returned home.

Sheriff’s officials say at around 5:29 p.m. October 6, the homeowner returned to their house in the Town of Harford to find someone they didn’t know inside the house. 

Authorities say the resident called 911 and keep the suspect calm until Deputies arrived. 

24-year-old Mitchell Roehm of Endicott is charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny.
