Cortland County Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Desirrae Brame of Freetown was found at a home on Route 41 as they responded to a complaint from the owner about someone suspicious on the property on Friday, December 17.

Deputies say they actually saw Brame coming out of the home with items that had been in the house when they arrived at the scene.

Officers say they found she also had taken items that had been outside the residence, and she was arrested for Burglary and Petit Larceny.

Investigators say they then determined Brame allegedly had entered another home in the same area on November 6 and stole items from inside that house. She is also charged with Burglary and Petit Larceny in that incident.

In all, the Freetown woman is charged with two felony counts of Burglary and three counts of Petit Larceny.

She was released to await arraignment.
