A two-alarm fire is reported at a house in a housing development in West Endicott.

Broome County Emergency Services officials say fire crews were called to the blaze at 61 June Street near Grippen and Nanticoke Avenues at around 11:30 a.m. September 30.

Authorities say the location is near a flood wall and there were no major traffic tie-ups had been anticipated.

Crews arriving on the scene reported fire in a garage.

The majority of the fire had been "knocked down" within a half hour and firefighters were investigating whether there had been any progression of the flames into the home.

The cause of the fire will be under investigation.

There had been no early reports of any injuries.
