Broome County Emergency Services officials were notified of a tractor trailer with power lines on it at Conklin Road and Broome Corporate Park at around 3 a.m. March 11.

The driver, apparently, was not injured but lights were reported out all along Conklin Road.

NYSEG had expected service to some 500 customers in the Towns of Conklin and Kirkwood to be out for several hours but by 4:30 had no power outages listed on its website.

Traffic signals in the area were back on, although some were still flashing red after power was restored
