The Rumble Ponies will send David Peterson to the mound against  New Hampshire's Hector Perez.  Peterson is 2-2 while Perez comes in at 4-2.

The Eastern League has adopted a split season schedule this year.  The winner of each division clinches a playoff spot.  The first half of the season concludes tonight.  Heading into the action this evening there is a three-way tie for the top spot.  Trenton, Reading and Hartford  are in a virtual tie for first place.  The Rumble Ponies are 2.5 games behind.

In nine previous meetings this season the Rumble Ponies are 3-6 against the Fisher Cats. New Hampshire is the Eastern League affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
