The Binghamton Rumble Ponies continue to struggle as they close out their weekend series at NYSEG Stadium against the Hartford Yard Goats.  Last night the Rumble Ponies fell behind early and could not muster enough offense to catch up as they lost to the Yard Goats 7-2.  It was the tenth loss in the past 11 games for the Rumble Ponies.

The Yard Goats put a record of 36-37 on the line against Binghamton this afternoon at 2:05 P.M. (air at 1:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Rumble Ponies will start Scott Copeland on the mound.  He is 4-2 this season.  Hartford is countering with Evan Grills who is 1-1.  Hartford has owned the Rumble Ponies in the 2018 season going 7-0.  Binghamton's slump has dropped the Rumble Ponies to 4th place in the East Division standings.

The Rumble Ponies will continue their homestand Monday through Thursday as they host the Trenton Thunder in four consecutive games.  All games are scheduled for 6:35 P.M. start and can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF, wnbf.com and on the WNBF mobile phone app.
