Pedestrian Hit and Killed on Route 26 in Maine
Bob Joseph/ WNBF News [file][/caption]The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a collision between a pedestrian and car that resulted in the death of the pedestrian.
Officials say 55 year old David McDonough of the Town of Maine was driving north on Route 26 near Route 38B ar 5:33 p.m. December 9 when his vehicle hit 69 year old Donna Gayne of the Town of Maine, who was walking on the side of the road.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
