
Local Law Enforcement Keeps Busy With Recent Arrests
The weekly report from the Broome County Sheriff's Office was released on July 7, 2025.
The arrests and charges listed below do not reflect all the activities of the Broome County Sheriff's Department for the week. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
All arrests and charges are part of ongoing investigations conducted by local law enforcement agencies, including the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, and other law enforcement agencies.

Criminal Trespass
April Gonzalez of Port Crane was charged with Criminal Trespass, a Violation, following a trespassing investigation in the Town of Fenton.
Disorderly Conduct
Elizabeth Jones of Binghamton was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Walking into Traffic, Proceeding into the Path of a Vehicle, and Illegally Walking in a Highway, Violations, following a disorderly conduct investigation in the Village of Johnson City.
Petit Larceny
Corey Allan was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Class A Misdemeanors, following a larceny investigation in the Village of Port Dickinson.
Thomas Cole, Jr., was charged with Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor, following a Larceny Investigation in the Town of Union.
Criminal Possession
Paul Shattuck, Jr., from Brackney, Pennsylvania, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, following a traffic stop in the Town of Union.
Traffic Violations
Rene Medina Lozano of Johnson City was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense) and Aggravated DWI (BAC > 0.18), Misdemeanors, along with multiple traffic violations, following a traffic stop in the Town of Union.
Juston Ellis from Glen Aubrey was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense), a Misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the Village of Johnson City.
Obstruction
Juan Perezpena from Binghamton was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, along with multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop in the City of Binghamton.
Harassment
Damian Ortiz of Endicott was charged with Harassment in the 2nd Degree, a Violation, following a harassment investigation in the Town of Union.
