New Café Opens Its Doors Near Huron Campus in Endicott

A husband and wife who have spent many years preparing and serving food in Broome County have opened a café on Endicott's North Side.

Café at the Crossings at Hayes Avenue and Clark Street is located near the BAE Systems HybriDrive Solutions facility on the Huron Campus.

Jeff and Lisa Glosenger opened the restaurant on Monday. The café's name reflects its location just north of the Hayes Avenue railroad crossing.

Jeff Glosenger used social media to let his friends know that he's "retired from my professional life." He then revealed he and his wife "have always wanted to have our own place" and announced plans to open the café.

Initial operating hours for the business are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Glosenger has been soliciting comment from the café's first customers over the last few days. On Friday afternoon, he said the "feedback's been phenomenal."
