The Kalurah Shrine Circus came to Binghamton this weekend at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena and entertained thousands.  Many parents and grandparents brought their children and grand children to see the performers and animals.  The three ring circus provides continuous entertainment for "people of all ages".

The annual event helps raise money for charities through the Kalurah Shriners who have children's hospitals across the United States.  Locally, the Kalurah Shriners have a location at 625 Dickson Street in Endicott.

Along with the high-wire acts, jugglers, animal acts and the grand finale of a man shot out of a cannon families had an intermission break to go down to the arena floor and have photos taken with a pair of elephants and take camel and pony rides.
