Binghamton Devils Bring Offense to Pound Pens
The Binghamton Devils snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday night at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.
The wins ups Binghamton's record to 2-3-2-0 for six points while the Penguins drop to 3-3-1-0 for seven points.
Goaltender Gilles Senn earned his first American Hockey League victory turning in 20 saves along the way. Brett Seney paced the Devils with a pair of goals and has now scored in seven consecutive games. Michael McLeod and Ben Street notched single goals to account for the Devils' tallies.
The Binghamton Devils are in action again on Saturday evening at 7:05 PM as they host the Toronto Marlies on Star Wars Night. The Devils are offering Star Wars Packs that include a ticket and a free Binghamton Devils lightsaber.
Star Wars souvenirs and merchandise will also be on sale in the concourse before and during the game. Proceeds from the Star Wars Night merchandise will go to the Broome Sports Foundation and the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
