Former Broome Motorcycle Gang-Member’s Conviction Upheld

An Endicott man convicted of attempted murder for trying to kill another member of the Flesh and Bloods motorcycle club in West Corners in 2016 will stay in prison.

The New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division has upheld the conviction of Paul Warner for attempted murder, attempted assault and other related charges.

The former gang member shot then-50-year-old Timothy Mancini on September 24, 2016 following an on-going feud between Flesh and Blood members.

Warner was sentenced to 12 years in State Prison.

According to news accounts in 2016, Mancini had apparently been kicked out of the gang but went back to the Flesh and Blood clubhouse on Carl Street to try to retrieve some tools and settle a money issue when he was ambushed and he and his dog were shot and wounded.

In announcing the Appellate Court’s ruling, the Broome County District Attorney’s office says the Court ruled the verdict was supported by legally sufficient evidence and prosecutors disproved Warner’s claim that the shooting was justified.
