First Presidents Cup Hockey Game

Binghamrton University Ice Hockey Club mets SUNY Broome at the SUNY Broome Ice Center in the First Annual Presidents Cup.  The match-up renewed a rivalry that began in 1975.  Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger issued the challenge to SUNY Broome President Kevin Drumm who accepted.

The two schools are continuing to work together on a number of projects and numerous students continue their education at Binghamton University upon graduation from SUNY Broome.

The winner of the match up took home the new Presidents Cup Trophy.  The trophy will be put on display at the winning school and will be up for grabs next year where the two teams square off again.
