The operators of Endwell Greens Golf Club say all operations at the business have been shut down after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In an updated message, they announced plans to reopen the facility on Sally Piper Road on August 27 if they believe it's safe for the general public.

According to the announcement, one of the employees who tested positive had not been at the site since August 7 and the other had not been there since August 10.

The operators said the business will be closed so "we can sanitize every corner" of the facility.

Golf operations initially were expected to continue with precautions but that plan has changed. Now, the entire facility is scheduled to be closed through August 26.

The statement indicated both employees are "well on their way to a full recovery."
