Cortland Man Charged for Repeat Protection Order Violations
A Cortland County man facing a long list of charges, including three felony counts, following a disturbance on Ridge Road in Cortlandville.
Sheriff’s officials say 39-year-old Michael Natale of Marathon was arrested after repeatedly violating an order of protection.
Cortland County Sheriff’s officials were called to a reported disturbance at around 9 a.m. January 17 and say they found Natale at the home even though there had been an order of protection in place prohibiting him from being on the property.
Authorities say a week earlier, they had responded to a complaint involving Natale saying he had violated the same order of protection and allegedly was involved in a physical altercation with the victim.

Natale is charged with felony counts of Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt and Aggravated Criminal Contempt as well as misdemeanor Criminal Contempt and a Harassment violation.
He was released again following his arraignment Monday, January 17 and ordered to appear in Cortlandville Court at a later date.
