A Cortland man is being charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor assault for a July home invasion on Route 11 in Cortlandville.  

26-year-old Leonard Walker was arrested by Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies on Wednesday, October 12 for allegedly, along with another suspect, entering a home on July 25 and assaulting the resident.

No information has been provided about the other suspect in the home invasion incident. 

There also was no information given in the news release concerning injuries to the victim of what, if any items were taken in the break-in.

Walker is charged with felony Burglary in the 2nd degree, a Class C felony, Assault in the Third Degree and Conspiracy in the 5th Degree, both Class A misdemeanors. 

Walker was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail with his next date in Cortlandville Town Court scheduled for November 9.
