The 50th Central New York Maple Festival will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You don't have to worry about stuffing your wallet with tons of extra cash for parking and admission because both are free.

Activities for all ages will be held on the streets of the village of Marathon, at the Marathon Civic Center and Pavilion, the gymnasium of the Marathon school, the cafeteria of the Marathon School, Mason's Hall, American Legion Hall, and the restored Railroad Station.

At the Maple Festival, you and your family will have the opportunity to enjoy maple inspired products, delicious foods, a juried craft show, historical exhibits, demonstrations, displays of quilts, helicopter rides, paintball, air-boat rides, and so much more. The Central New York Maple Festival has been a springtime tradition in Marathon for the last 50 years and has become a springtime destination event, bringing in people from all over New York, and beyond.

Bring your appetite because, in addition to hot, steamy pancakes, you'll also be able to devour maple pulled pork sandwiches, elephant ears slathered in maple, maple-flavored milkshakes, maple coffee and tea, maple popcorn and more!

Marathon is easy to get to no matter where you're coming from - just 35 miles from Binghamton, 55 miles from Syracuse, 30 miles from Ithaca and 9 miles from Greek Peak.

To find the Marathon Maple Festival, just take Interstate 81 to exit 9. Be sure to check out the full schedule of events and get ready for a weekend of all things mapley!
