The Binghamton University Bearcat Women scored a victory with an impressive 52-44 win over the Hartford Hawks yesterday at the events center.

Denai Bowman lead the BU Woman with a team high 22 points (tying her career high), and was 11 for 17 from the field, giving the Bearcats their second win of the season.

The Bearcats ended the game shooting free throws and were a perfect 4 for 4 in the waning seconds of the game.

This Bearcats played some great defense holding their opponent to 44 points.

The Bearcats lost the first of the back-to-back games against Harford on Saturday 64-54.

The BU Women are 2-4 in the America East, 2-6 overall.

Binghamton will travel to Vermont for a back to back this weekend against the Catamounts, Saturday at 5pm and again on Sunday at 1pm.

The Binghamton University Bearcat Men lost a close game yesterday on the road, as Hartford’s Austin Williams put in a winning 3 point shot at the buzzer to defeat BU 77-74.

Brenton Mills had 21 points and Tyler Bertram had a career high 19 points, and was 4 for 6 behind the arc. George Tinsley contributed 10 points, and Dan Petcash crashed the boards with nine rebounds (a team high) and eight points.

BU Lost the first of the back to back to Harford on Saturday  76-56.

Bearcat Men are 1-5 America East and 1-8 overall and will host a two game back to back with the Vermont Catamounts this weekend Saturday and Sunday both games at 2pm.
