After losing the first game (43-38) of a back to back at the events center this weekend, the Binghamton University Bearcats women’s basketball team defeated Albany 64-52.

Bearcats guard Denai Bowman was the high scorer for BU with 21 points, had her first career double double, and scored more than 20 points in a game for the fourth time this season.

The Bearcats offense scoring over 60 points once again and tied a season high of fourteen assists while  out rebounding the Great Danes 38-29 .

Yesterday was also Senior day and although the pandemic prevented a crowd of people to honor the Bearcats one senior, forward Kaylee Wasco, the team presented her with a special video from her parents who could not be there because of COVID protocol.

The Bearcat Women will hit the road  for a big conference match up with the New Jersey Institute of Technology this coming Saturday and Sunday.

The Binghamton University Bearcat men’s scheduled matchups against New Jersey Institute of Technology were postponed because of a positive test for COVID-19 from a member of the Tier 1 team.

The member has begun their quarantine protocol and the games at Maine this coming weekend have been postponed.
