Bronx Man Found Hiding in Maine With Heroin

Broome County Sheriff’s officials and New York State Parole Officers say they found a parole absconder hiding in a closet in a trailer on Route 26 in the Town of Maine Friday, May 3.

47 year old Morris Simmons of the Bronx reportedly was also found to be in possession of 68 bags of heroin.

He’s charged on a parole absconder warrant and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail and ordered to appear in Town of Maine Court to answer to the drug charge at a later date.
