The Binghamton Bearcats used a strong second half to overcome a 40-34 halftime deficit and defeat the Colgate Raiders 76-65 Saturday afternoon in the Events Center.  Binghamton outscored the Raiders 42- 25 in the second 20 minutes.

The Raiders were red-hot in the first half shooting 65 percent from the field.  Binghamton's defense held Colgate to just 23 percent in the second half while the Bearcats made 50 percent of their shots.

Thomas Bruce exploded for 26 points including 17 in the second half and grabbed 12 rebounds to key Binghamton's victory.  The Bearcats used a 20-4 run to overtake Colgate and secure their fourth consecutive victory.

J.C.Show scored 19 points in the game including 12 points in the second half.  Willie Rodriguez netted 16 points including four three-point shots.

The win was Binghamton's fourth straight and upped its record to 5-4.  The Raiders fell to 3-4.  The Bearcats remain home to host Army on Wednesday at 7 PM.  Air is set for 645 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
