With the official news coming out yesterday that the long-rumored Ottawa affiliation move to Belleville, Ontario is going to happen the Binghamton Senators are back at it preparing for this upcoming season.  Nothing changes for the 2016-17 campaign.  As Director of Hockey Operations Tom Mitchell was speaking to media inside the Senators locker room Floyd L.Maines Veterans Memorial Arena workers were getting the ice ready for the team when they report from training camp and get the season underway.

The ice surface is in and the crew was putting the finishing touches on  with the blue lines and center red line put down.  Binghamton plays just one pre-season home game and that is set for Saturday, October 8 at 7:05 PM when the B-Sens host the Rochester Americans.  Tickets for that game are on-sale at the usual outlets.  Binghamton opens the regular season at home the following Saturday, October 15 at 7:05 PM against the Hershey Bears.
