The Binghamton Senators dropped their third road game of the weekend Sunday afternoon in Albany as the Devils took a 3-1 decision.  Binghamton's only goal came in the third period from Phil Varone as he scored his fifth tally of the season.  The B-Sens come up 0-3 in weekend away games having fallen in road games to Providence Friday night and Bridgeport on Saturday.

The Devils took an early lead when Kevin Rooney scored.  That was followed by Blake Pietila's goal on a  deflected a drive from Brandon Gormley that got past past B-Sens netminder Matt O'Connor.

Varone cut the lead in half for the B-Sens but Joe Blandisi scored in the closing five minutes to seal the win for Albany.  Binghamton returns to Albany again on Wednesday night to complete a stretch of four consecutive road games.

Binghamton returns home to host the Utica Comets.  The game is scheduled for a 7:05 faceoff.
