After a dismal opening night the Binghamton Mets rocked the Akron RubberDucks in the next three outings to win the series three games to one. Luis Cessa threw seven scoreless innings to pace the B-Mets to a 6-2 victory April 12 in the series finale.  He struck out eight Akron hitters.  Beck Wheeler came on in relief to nail down the decision.

Binghamton has its home opener at NYSEG Stadium April 16 at 6:35 p.m. versus the Harrisburg Senators. The B-Mets remain home to meet the Senators in a four-game series and then host Erie for three straight.
