The Binghamton Mets will look to even their series against the Reading Fightin Phils tonight in Reading at 7:05 (air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Last night the Fightin Phils spoiled a solid effort from Rafael Montero with a 1-0 win over the B-Mets.  Montero pitched seven innings and gave up just two hits but allowed the only run of the game as Reading notched a 1-0 victory.  The loss dropped Binghamton's record to 47-53 while Reading enters tonight's action with a 69-33 slate.

Tonight, Josh Zeid was scheduled to start for Binghamton against Reading's Thomas Eshelman.  But, Zeid has been promoted to Las Vegas and Rainy Lara starts in his place.  Lara is 5-7 with an ERA of 4.01.  Eshelman is 2-1 with an ERA of 6.75.  The Fightin Phils have had the B-Mets number going back to last season.  Reading has won eight straight against Binghamton.
