A Delaware County woman is accused of stealing from her employer.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 34 year old Kimberly Ross surrendered January 24 after a warrant was issued for felony falsifying business records and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Ross is accused of stealing money from Verona Oil Company while employed as a manager of the Horton Country Store on County Highway 17 in Hancock.  Ross then allegedly falsified business records to conceal the theft and falsely reported the receipt of returnable cans and bottles to cover the amount of money taken from the business.
