The Binghamton Bearcats were unable to contain the New Hampshire Wildcats and Elizabeth Belanger at the Events Center yesterday in women's basketball.  New Hampshire ended up with a 76-58 victory in America East conference play.

The Wildcats upped their record to 15-10 overall and 7-6 in conference action.  The Bearcats fall to 4-22 and 2-11 in America East competition.

New Hampshire rolled up a 43-24 lead at halftime and never looked back.  Belanger was the Wildcats' top scorer with 25 points.  Binghamton's top point producer was Sherae Swinson who netted 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.  Freshmen guards Imani Watkins and Jasmine Sina each scored in double figures.  Watkins notched 15 points while Sina fired in 11 points.

Next up the Bearcats will host Maine at 2 PM on Saturday at the Events Center.  Airtime is set for 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
