Update on Binghamton University Operations

Binghamton University President Dr. Harvey Stenger addressed the student body and staff via video recording to provide an update on the situation at the school.  He urged students to make smart choices which include frequent hand washing, social distancing and no large gatherings.

The University is now conducting all classes online.  Residence halls remain open while dining halls are also open although all food needs to be take out only....no sit down dining.  The library on campus is closed but online resources remain available.  Campus transportation is also continuing.

The University also reports that extra cleaning and disinfecting procedures are continuin g including all building entry points and dorms.  Extra strength disinfectant is being used throughout the campus.
