A trial is getting underway for a Binghamton man arrested after a break-in at a home in the Town of Chenango at the end of August, 2020.

Broome County Court documents list the trial of Jamie Levene on the schedule for October 13.

At the time of the arrest, New York State Police said say Levene, now 45-years-old, and 28-year-old Christina Martinez of Johnson City faced felony charges.

Levene was charged with burglary.

Investigators say tens of thousands of dollars-worth of items were reported stolen from a home on Wilson Hill Road.

The homeowner told police they knew the person who entered the house without permission and stole the items.

Some of the things that were taken were sold at a pawn shop.
