Authorities say sheriff’s deputies went to a home on Burdge Hill Road in the Town of Newfield around 5 a.m. Friday for a cardiac arrest call.

Investigators say Camden Rundell of Newfield was found unresponsive in the front yard of the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy performed on Saturday determined Rundell’s death was a homicide.

According to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, two women were charged with second-degree murder on Saturday in connection with the death. They are 37-year-old Colleen McColgin of Dryden and 38-year-old Jamie Gerhart of Ithaca.

The third suspect, 39-year-old Roy Clements of Ithaca, was arrested on Sunday. He also has been charged with second-degree murder.

McColgin, Gerhart and Clements are being held in Tompkins County Jail without bail.

Detectives say people with information about Rundell’s death may contact the sheriff’s office at 607.266.5420.
