Police officers and EMS workers were sent to the scene, where the man was pronounced dead.

The rail trail around the area where the body was found was closed for a few hours as investigators looked for clues.

According to a police department news release, "nothing appears to be suspicious" at this time. The statement said "there is no known danger to the community."

Investigators are awaiting results of an autopsy and a toxicology report.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area and may have seen Seeley to contact the agency's detective division at (607) 754-2477.
