Thanksgiving Morning Crash Closes Portion of 17 West

An early morning crash between a tractor trailer and an SUV caused the closing of a portion of Route 17 West just before 7:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning.  Police and emergency personnel responded to the crash scene.  Police closed 17 West in the Vestal area between exits 67 and 69,  The highway was reported back open about an hour later.

Injuries were reported but no information was available on the seriousness of those injuries.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
