Susquehanna Valley and Chenango Forks hope to continue their quest for state football championships today at Cicero-North Syracuse.  Both are undefeated.  In a Class D semifinal yesterday also at Cicero-North Syracuse Tioga had its championship hopes ended with a 28-27 loss to Clymer/Sherman/Panama.  Tioga was up by two TD's at the half.

At noon the Sabers put their 23-game winning streak on the line against section 6 representative Southwestern.  Both are 11-0.  Southwestern will have its work cut out for it trying to do what no one else has....contain Logan Haskell.  He is explosive at quarterback or running back and one of the elite players in New York state.

At 3 PM Chenango Forks meets another section 6 team from Buffalo in the form of Western New York Maritime Charter/Health Sciences.  Forks is looking to advance and win its sixth state championship while Western New York/Maritime is just in its second year of existence. Powerful running back Lucas Scott has keyed the Blue Devils throughout the season and has been unstoppable in the postseason.
