Suspect Sought in Norwich Power Tool Theft
New York State Police are looking for a suspect who stole thousands of dollars-worth of power tools from a big-box home improvement store in Chenango County.
Authorities say just before 7 p.m. March 11 a white man with dark hair wearing a black sweatshirt and black hat was seen on surveillance cameras stealing over $6,400-worth of tolls from Lowes in Norwich.
The suspect appears to be between 30 and 40 years old and may have left the area in a silver Jeep Compass.
