To register go to www.campusce.net/sunybroome/course.  There are in-person and online options.

Organizers say the course will help budding business owners to take their ideas and successfully turn them into a simple, focused start-up plan.  Participants are to be guided through the whole process of navigating available financing and other options as well as business plans, marketing and other details that they may not be aware of that can help get a small business started and successfully continue and possibly expand in the future.

The programs will be held Mondays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Participants who get their registration in before August 15 can take advantage of a $149 course fee.  That fee increases to $199 after August 15.

There is a special rate for U.S. Military Veterans as a way to encourage more veteran-owned and operated businesses in the region.  As a thank you to U-.S. Veterans, Broome Community College will offer the program at a total price of only $25.  Vets must show their DD214 information in order to take advantage of the reduced rate.
