St. Patrick’s Luncheons at Broome Senior Centers Not Just for Seniors

Saint Patrick’s Day is coming just a couple days early at local senior centers with celebrations today (March 15.)

Reservations should be made by noon today for Saint Patrick’s luncheons of corned beef, beer battered fish, baby potatoes, sautéed cabbage with onions and Key Lime pie. Lunch is served starting at 11:30.

Participating centers are: Broome West, Eastern Broome, First Ward, Johnson City, North Shore Towers, Northern Broome and Vestal.

Special entertainment is also scheduled including Irish Dancers, music and games.

The Broome County Office for Aging says the celebration is for “all seniors, family and friends.”
