Breakfast is served from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  No meals are being delivered and meals cannot be taken off-site.

According to officials with the Vestal School District, the program is modified from the prior couple of years when the pandemic forced food to be handed out for take away and, in the first months of COVID, using a drive-through distribution at sites throughout the district.

Those working with agencies to address food insecurity say there is an increase in the need for food services during the summer months when children who normally are able to avail themselves of the free and reduced-cost school meal programs during the regular school year, find they are without resources for lunch and sometimes breakfast as well.
