Friday, May 15 - Patriots - 7 Rumble Ponies - 3
The Rumble Ponies go down early and can’t recover as they fall to Somerset 7-3. Somerset leads the six-game series 3-1. Binghamton's third baseman, Jacob Reimer, got the Rumble Ponies started at the top of the first inning with a solo home run off of right-hander Jack Cebert. It was Reimer's third big fly of the season and put Binghamton up 1-0. Cebert (2-0) allowed just one run and four hits across 5.2 innings while not allowing a walk and striking out seven. Jaylen Palmer, who was signed two days ago on a minor league deal with Binghamton, had a two-hit night with two stolen bases. Palmer was drafted by the Mets in the 22nd round of the 2018 draft and played with the Rumble Ponies in 2024.

Sunday May 17 - Rumble Ponies - 10 Patriots - 7
The Rumble Ponies stormed back for their largest comeback victory of the season to beat the Somerset Patriots at TD Bank Ballpark. Binghamton third baseman Jacob Reimer clobbered a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put them in front 10-7. Reimer has now hit four home runs this season and deposited two in the series. The five-run comeback win is Binghamton’s largest comeback of the year, and both came against Somerset. On April 11, they trailed 4-1 into the fourth inning against the Patriots and won 7-6.
Binghamton right-hander Ben Simon got the ball in the bottom of the ninth inning and hit 100 miles per hour as he retired the side for the save. The 10 runs for the Rumble Ponies are the most they have scored since April 24 against Erie when they won 10-2. The 10 hits and three home runs are also the most they have tallied since that game.
