Senior Centers to Celebrate President’s Day

Many local senior centers will be holding special President's Day celebrations around Broome County on Thursday, February 20.  Celebrations begin at 11:30 AM.  Various centers will hold President's Day themed activities including presidential bingo and trivia.  Along with lunch a special cherry dessert will be served to those who attend. Seniors (age 60 and over) are invited along with family and friends.

Reservations need to be made by 12 noon on Wednesday, February 19 by calling the center that you plan to attend.  For those attending the luncheon in Deposit reservations need to be made by noon on Tuesday, February 18.  That number is 467-3953.  The Deposit address is 14 Monument Street in Deposit.  The suggested contribution for each person age 60 and over is $3.50 as well as $3.50 for their spouse of any age.  The charge for those under 60 is $4.50 apiece.
