Authorities say 17-year-old Jacob Coish of Binghamton was arrested Monday. Coish was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony.

According to Johnson City police, Coish is believed to have participated in the theft of a woman's vehicle after she was attacked around 1 a.m. April 14.

Detectives say Coish is suspected of being with 16-year-old Brandon Corey of Johnson City when the vehicle was stolen.

Coish was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.

Police had previously announced Corey was charged with first-degree rape in the assault. He also was charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal mischief.

Investigators believe Corey also was involved in an incident of forcibly touching a woman outside the hospital last month.
