Rumble Pony Patrick Mazeika Named Eastern League Player of the Week

Binghamton Rumble Pony Patrick Mazeika has been named the Eastern League's Player of the Week for the week of May 13 to 19.  Mazeika who plays first base and catches has been on fire for Binghamton.

During last week's action Mazeika hit .333 with a 9-27 showing,  He ripped four home runs, four doubles, scored seven runs and drove in 15 runs while compiling a .926 slugging percentage.  Mazeika had a team-high 15-game consecutive hitting streak through last Friday's game in Trenton.

Mazeika was an eighth round Mets' draft pick out of Stetson University in 2015.  His most productive game to date came against Altoona when he went 3-4 with a home run and six runs batted in at NYSEG Stadium.
