After two consecutive rainouts the Binghamton Rumble Ponies look to play a doubleheader today at NYSEG Stadium against the Altoona Curve. The first pitch for game one is scheduled for 5:35 P.M. (air at 5:20 P.M. on News Radio 1290 WNBF).

Binghamton enters the action with a record of 19-12 and in second place in the Eastern Division one game behind Trenton. The Curve is 18-17 and in third place in the Western Division.  Harrisburg is the top team in the Western Division.

Binghamton's Anthony Kay is slated to pitch in the first game while David Peterson is expected to work the nightcap.  The Curve counters with undefeated Pedro Vasquez in the first contest followed by Joel Cesar.

Tonight is the first meeting of the season between the two teams.  The Curve rolled up an eight and one record against Binghamton last season. The series concludes with a Baseball in Education Day game beginning at 10:35 AM on Wednesday.
